I love pumpkins! I have no particular reason for loving pumpkins, I just do. Perhaps it’s because I have quite eclectic taste. My home will never be perfect so instead I embrace the quirkiness.
Pumpkins are a bit like that. They are rarely perfect. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Many with their imperfections on display. Yet if they were all the same they just wouldn’t have the same appeal!
This summer we had a family holiday at Carrick Dhu, just a mile from the seaside town of Portrush. This consisted of me packing up my car to bursting, and my boys and I spending a week in a tent. If you want to know more about the facilities available at Carrick Dhu Caravan Park, check out my review. If you want to know what we got up to on our visit, then read on!
What makes a really great Northern Irish BBQ? Sheltering from the rain? Yes, of course that can be part of the fun, but that’s not what I meant. What I mean, is how better to enjoy spending quality time with your family than by getting outdoors and eating al fresco, while taking advantage of all the great local produce we have available. Also, as it is the Northern Ireland year of food and drink, we should make as much effort as possible to support and showcase local business.
When I was asked if I would do a Your Portrait review, I jumped at the chance. Who doesn’t love a bit of personalisation, and that is exactly what this company are all about. Using a digital photo of a person’s portrait, their graphic designers transform it into something fabulous. And the range of what that can be is huge.
Have your photograph incorporated into a cartoon character, a superhero or a pop art portrayal. Make it look hand painted, pencil drawn or create a mosaic from your favourite photos… and these are just some of the options available.
When I was offered the opportunity to participate in a ClaireaBella BrideaBella Review by Toxic Fox, I knew that this would be a perfect gift to give my friend Laura on her Hen Night! I have the honoured position as one of her Bridesmaids, which also means I had a responsibility to do what I could to ensure her Hen Party was celebrated with style, and that she had an evening with her friends that she wouldn’t forget!
