This summer we created a wish list of things to do. For the kids, a visit to Giant’s Causeway was a pretty high priority! This summer is absolutely galloping along. I can’t believe there are only two weeks left of the school holidays! We have now returned from our final camping trip of the season where we headed back to Carrick Dhu Campsite. I really like it there. Great location and spotless facilities.
Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge is one of those iconic places we are fortunate enough to have on our little island. Visitors from all over the world flock to enjoy the views, and test their courage on the wobbling bridge swaying above the crashing waves of the Atlantic. So I felt it was about time I took my family on an excursion there.
This summer we had a family holiday at Carrick Dhu, just a mile from the seaside town of Portrush. This consisted of me packing up my car to bursting, and my boys and I spending a week in a tent. If you want to know more about the facilities available at Carrick Dhu Caravan Park, check out my review. If you want to know what we got up to on our visit, then read on!
