Pink Clove Review and Competition

Pink Clove Review

When I was asked if I would like to do a Pink Clove review, I have to admit I wasn’t sure. Pink Clove are a plus size clothing company, and if you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that I am no fashion blogger. I am however a woman, and I do like adding to my wardrobe so I had a look at their website. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if their clothes would fit me – I’m sure everyone has experienced the vast sizing differences in clothing from different retailers. Luckily Pink Clove have a size guide on their website. A few measurements later I discovered that I was perfect for their size 16 clothes. So I decided to go ahead.

The first item I choose was a floral t-shirt swing dress. Now, I realise that a swing dress is supposed to be loose fitting, but I felt it was a bit unflattering for me. I am only just over 5 foot, so perhaps the length on me didn’t suit the style. I added a belt which I thought instantly improved the look.

The fabric is 96% polyester and 4% elastane. I don’t think I own many clothes in this fabric, but it was definitely very comfortable with lots of stretch. It’s definitely the sort of fabric that will cope with putting on or losing a few pounds. The dress costs £18, which I feel is in line with most high street retailers.

The second item I choose was the monochrome print bomber jacket. This jacket is the sort of thing I would wear every day. This would be really easy to throw on for the school run. It is also elasticated so perfect for juggling a toddler in one arm and a schoolboy with the other. However, it is also smart enough to wear out, so it offers the best of both worlds.

The jacket is currently on sale at £14 (reduced from £26) which is a bit of a bargain in my opinion.

Pink Clove are a UK based company providing clothes in sizes 16 – 32, although they do deliver worldwide. If you are a plus size I would definitely recommend having a look at their range, as my impression is that they provide affordable fashion, suited to those with a fuller figure.

I’m glad I decided to complete this Pink Clove review as to be honest I wouldn’t normally consider looking for clothes in a plus size shop. I forget that the clothing lines can start from a size 16. And although I was gifted these items, all views and opinions in this post are honest and mine.

I am also delighted to be able to offer one lucky reader a piece of clothing of their choice, from the Pink Clove New Arrivals range. All you have to do is fill in the rafflecopter below, and don’t forget to read the t&c’s. Good luck everyone!
