Love The Little Things #5

Another manic week in our little household, hopefully the last one for a while. At least the rain has stopped for the most part, for which the ends of my trousers are thankful! I have managed to catch the occasional moment to myself though, so keep reading for all this weeks little loves…

Watched:

I watched as Mel C saved Stevie on The X Factor! What was that all about? She literally can barely bring herself to watch that man perform, so why did she save him? Hmmm… another reason not to watch this programme – but it probably won’t stop me!

Read:

Hurrah, this week my bedtime reading includes a paperback! It’s been a while, the Kindle has been getting good use! I’ve only just started, so no opinion on this one yet!

Listened:

The only Radio Station I can get in my car is Radio One. And every morning on the school run I listen to some weird quiz with a robotic ‘Showbot’ asking questions. I don’t want to find it funny. I haven’t found it funny up until now, but somehow, it’s kind of growing on me. I think it must be the Showbot’s sarcastic personality drawing me in! It starts about 8.50am if you fancy a listen. Do let me know what you think if you tune in.

Wore:

It’s been a strange week weather wise. Freezing cold in the evenings, but actually quite mild for the time of year during the day. I have ventured out without my coat and worn fleecy socks at bedtime. I’m just glad not be doing Christmas shopping in New York – I never thought I would be saying that and meaning it! By the way, if you ever get the opportunity to go shopping in New York – go! Go Go Go! I loved it – and I don’t even like shopping in general!

Made:

I made a start on my Christmas shopping… well… I started a list of things I need to buy. Usually I pick things up throughout the year, but not this time. Next week, I plan to make a start on actual shopping!

And Lastly:

I’ve been unpacking some of my stored household items. I now know why I have been so disorganised – I didn’t have my chalkboards up to keep me in line. Now, if only I could find my chalk I could put these to use….

How has your week been?
