Just two more weeks until school breaks up, and it feels like it might actually be Summer. I have abandoned my dream of having my building work complete by the end of the month, but it was probably a tad unrealistic anyway! I hope you have all been having a great week? And just so you know – I know that cool, spelt kool, is not cool. But I like a bit of alliteration – so kalm down!
Here are all my Little Loves:
So very very little… but I did read that floppy hats were making a comeback? More on that later…
I have decided to start watching The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. I’ve been eyeing it up for a while, but this week I took the plunge. About 30 seconds into it I realised it was going to be more surreal than I expected. However, in saying that, I’ve now watched 3 episodes so I’m obviously finding it entertaining! Kimmy basically was a hostage for 15 years and is now trying to build a life in New York. I personally think her street cred is pretty good considering!
My boys had gone all quiet on me one day and when I went to investigate I found this!
Lewis and Aaron were tucked into bed together, and Lewis was reading Aaron a story! The cutest thing I’ve heard in ages!
You know I’m a huge fashion fanatic and love taking a selfie! (Now re-read that sentence with a large dose of sarcasm.)
So… what do you think of my new sunhat, which I picked up from Poundland! Having read these were back in fashion, I figured I would try one out for a pound! I’m not sure I would go into the village like this but I quite like it for the garden! Actually, I’m just so pleased that a sunhat is required this week, that I might just wear it on the school run, just for fun! (P.S. they also had them in black with a white ribbon, if you wanna be in my gang.)
The only thing I have ‘made‘ this week is a concerted effort to drink more! Why? Because I am going on a hen weekend in 6 weeks and currently can’t make it past 1 glass of wine without falling asleep. I need to get to at least 2! That would be respectable, right?
I received some wallpaper from Graham and Brown, and have been experimenting with colour palettes and mood boards. You can read about that here. I’m hoping to include a bit more of that into my blog now I am starting to pick up some items for our extension. I actually found it really helpful in terms of visualizing the decor of the rooms! Every day’s a school day and all that!
Hope you have been enjoying some sun this week and don’t forget you can click the link to visit But Why Mummy Why who hosts this lovely weekly round-up!
