Oh my gosh it is a long time since I did a Little Loves post. This may be my first this year! If you haven’t seen one before then do head over to Morgana at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat and find lots of other bloggers doing the same type of post. Best get cracking then with all my favourite things from this past week.
Read:
An actual book. Even Mr C commented on the fact that it was a paperback, and I wasn’t on my Kindle! This is quite an easy going little number that I am slowly working my way through.
Watched:
Mr C and I are still making a date of watching The Goodwife on a Thursday night. I do feel it’s gone downhill a little, but nearly all series go that way eventually.
The other thing I watched was the snow falling thick and fast and covering everything within sight. Now, I wouldn’t go as far as to say I love this. Well… it is nearly May you know, and I was rather hoping for some sunshine this year. But it sure does make for a pretty picture.
Wore:
My new scarf. It has been freezing. What is the craic with this weather? See above ↑
Made:
I ‘made’ my way to Fratelli’s at Galgorm Manor, for a little birthday dinner. (I had planned to make banana bread for this section, but failed miserably. Maybe next week!) Galgorm Manor just keeps getting better and better. The meal was lovely, and the menu and staff were kid friendly, which makes life much easier. They have some great deals on as well, such as 2for1 on Monday’s and a Ladies night. Check them out here.
Heard:
I heard Aaron copy me, by saying, “I’m bogin.” ( Mr C has never heard this saying before. It means mucky or dirty, and can pretty much be applied to my children 90% of the time! It is cute when Aaron says it though!
And Lastly:
Some beautiful roses… inside, because I haven’t seen my garden since last year!
Such crazy weather!
I know what you mean about this season of the good wife, I feel like I’m still waiting for it to get going!
Hope you had a lovely weekend xx
The snow does look really pretty but how is the weather still so bad, it’s May!!! I’m ready for a bit of summer now! xx
I’m bogin! I’ve never heard that word before but it really sums thing up! Thank you for teaching me a new word!
Haha love the ‘I’m bogin’ part, that sounds so cute! Totally agree about all series going downhill eventually, they always carry them on for too long! x
Gosh the weather huh? Snow and it’s almost may! The fires on here !!! #littleloves
