Sometimes, I feel that Northern Ireland gets a little bit forgotten compared to mainland UK. Don’t you? Not the same selection of shops, not the same selection of services, not the same postage costs! That’s why I am delighted to be telling you that this week sees the launch of Hope Fashion Northern Ireland, with local woman, Sarah Loughridge from Ballymena, hosting the first ever Hope at Home Party. Sarah, who trained and practiced as a midwife, decided that she would like to start her own business. She always loved fashion and decided to to bring Hope Fashion to local women.
Hope fashion is new concept in clothing which believes that by placing the emphasis on cut and shape, clothes can be designed to flatter every shape of woman. The brand developer, Nanya, also believes that women want to connect with the clothes they buy. That’s why she has devised a network of stylists that take the clothes directly to women’s homes.
“…it allows women to try on clothing in the privacy of their home. It gives them the opportunity to explore and experiment in new styles and colours with honest & positive feedback, from a group of friends or stylists that they know and trust. Hope’s stylists can organise an event or party and can also consult on one-to-one styling sessions.”
I know I love an excuse to get the girls round, and when it comes to fashion… well… I probably need as much help as I can get, so this is an idea that really appeals to me. To have some-one in Northern Ireland offering this service, will help local women have more choice, and experience shopping in a new way.
