Hello hello! A little bit of a different post from me today, I have decided to share with you some of my favourite recent spring shopping buys. The last few years most of my cash has gone on bricks and skirting board so it has been really lovely to splash out on a few items for myself. I also had a birthday recently, so some items were gifts from family and friends.
Firstly, you might have seen I had a little trip to Monaco. Obviously, this required a lot of thought on the wardrobe front. Sadly I was unable to stock up on Versace and Louboutin, but I found a few items which I thought were equally as wearable in my wee home country as Monte Carlo!
To start with I wanted to show you this dress from Quiz. I am a little busty and bumpy in places, but this dress was flattering, and a good length for my short legs!
This jacket was a wee find from Primark, and I really love it. Perfect length and really wearable with jeans and a wee summer top.
The scarf was a gift, but I love the summer colours. Let’s be honest, scarf’s are a pretty wearable commodity all year round in Northern Ireland.
Shoes shoes shoes… I was always a fan of the adage that a girl should stock up on shoes as at least they will always fit. Turns out, after a couple of kids that is not necessarily true, so I am restocking my supply.
And to complete any Spring outfit I found this adorable handbag in TK Maxx. It was perfect for hand luggage on our flight, and for day time use.
So that is a neat little round up of my favourite recent spring shopping buys. I’m trying not to buy too many new items, as I am also (supposed to be) trying to get rid of some of my lumps and bumps. Which reminds me, I have got some new wee kitchen gadgets recently, so I’ll try to get a blog post on those up soon.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Those shoes and that jacket are just perfect, I bet you looked lovely in them.
Lovely items you got here. The shoes are pretty.
