Pumpkin Styling

I love pumpkins! I have no particular reason for loving pumpkins, I just do. Perhaps it’s because I have quite eclectic taste. My home will never be perfect so instead I embrace the quirkiness.

Pumpkins are a bit like that. They are rarely perfect.  They come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Many with their imperfections on display. Yet if they were all the same they just wouldn’t have the same appeal!

A Country Style Bedroom

If you a regular reader, you probably know that last year we spend a lot of time renovating and extending our wee home. This included converting the garage into a master bedroom. Structurally, the room was finished and we moved our bed out of the living room, just in time to put up the Christmas tree. Since then, pretty much nothing has happened. (I think I hibernate in the winter months!)

Hello, hello! I  know I have fallen out of my usual blogging routine, but this past couple of weeks has been busier than ever. Though I have actual real progress on the house extension, and pictures to prove it! We have two more bedrooms, and as Mr C would say, we are so pleased as we have  had enough of having to walk sideways!

Decorating a Toddler Boy’s Bedroom

When we moved into our current home, a year ago, I asked Lewis what kind of bedroom he wanted. He said he wanted bright yellow walls, and so, that is what he got. Well… he got one bright yellow wall – the rest are blue! Aaron hasn’t fully mastered the art of speech yet so I will have to decide on his décor for him. I’m looking forward to decorating a toddler boy’s bedroom, and I thought I would share with you some of my plans and purchases so far.
