Catch Up With My Days – September 2016

asda-tickled-pink

Hello hello! Can you believe September is nearly over? The past few weeks have completely run away with me! I have some things to share with you though, so grab a cuppa, and read on! Asda asked if I would let you know about their Tickled Pink Products in support of Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now this October. It’s such a good cause of course I agreed. Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign, part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is now in its 20th year. Every product sold includes a donation to the appeal. They have some really cute items, but if pom pom socks and pyjamas aren’t really your thing then look for the logo when buying your coca cola and crumpets. Hope Fashion Northern Ireland Launches in Ballymena

Hope Fashion Home Party

Sometimes, I feel that Northern Ireland gets a little bit forgotten compared to mainland UK. Don’t you? Not the same selection of shops, not the same selection of services, not the same postage costs! Sarah, who trained and practiced as a midwife, decided that she would like to start her own business. She always loved fashion and decided to to bring Hope Fashion to local women.

(Such as the fact that my children have now decided to get up at 6am every morning with the sunrise – give me strength!)  But… I’m not going to dwell on the negatives. Instead I’m going to share some of the things which have made me smile recently. Like the fact that the daffodils are blooming, and the skies have been blue! Spring is definitely on it’s way! Hurrah!

Keeping the Kids Clothes Clean: Vanish Review and Competition

Vanish Review

One of my least favourite chores is the laundry. It is my ground-hog day. Wash, dry, iron, put away. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Actually… stop. That item is for the bin. I know it was only bought last week, but look at the stains on that! It is definitely only fit for the bin… I’m only kidding… we don’t throw out stained clothes, we wear them in the house and just hope no-one comes to visit!

Pears, tantrums and books! #LittleLoves

I promised myself I would not start of another Little Loves talking about the weather! So I won’t – I’ll save it for later in the post! I am kind of hoping January would just hurry up and sod off though. I think it really is the dullest month of the year. One must keep going though and it’s not all blue. I have a list of Little Loves which have been cheering me up:
