This summer we had a family holiday at Carrick Dhu, just a mile from the seaside town of Portrush. This consisted of me packing up my car to bursting, and my boys and I spending a week in a tent. If you want to know more about the facilities available at Carrick Dhu Caravan Park, check out my review. If you want to know what we got up to on our visit, then read on!
EDIT: THE COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
Hello, hello. Have you been enjoying the sunshine over the last few weeks? It sure has got me thinking about summer, and how I am going to fill those long lazy months. Personally I love a holiday. A holiday to me is an experience which offers a respite from my usual routine. A time to forget about the dishes and the messy toy box, and just enjoy life with the people I cherish most. Of course now that I have young children I have to make sure that I have really done my research before booking a holiday. And I have been researching a family trip to Dubai. I know; it’s perhaps not the traditional choice, but I am convinced that Dubai could be the most perfect holiday destination for my little family.
I will explain about the competition later, but first I want to share with you some really cool activities I found, that I would love to experience with my husband and two boys, Lewis (6) and Aaron (2).
I decided to treat Mr C to a surprise trip to Monte Carlo, Monaco to celebrate his birthday. I do love to travel and explore new places, and so does Mr C, even if we don’t get many opportunities to do so. When I found out that Easyjet fly from Belfast International, to Nice, and Monte Carlo is only a 40 minute bus journey from there, I was determined to save up enough pennies to treat us. A trip to Monte Carlo, Monaco the smallest, yet most luxurious country in the world, was absolutely going to be a break from our normal lifestyle!
