Hello there! Today’s post features a Trespass Coat review. I’m sure many of you will have heard of the brand Trespass. It is well known for the quality products it provides to those who love the outdoors and adventure. When they contacted me and asked me if I would like to review an item from their online Trespass store I was only too happy to oblige.
Having recently bought myself a pair of Trespass boots, I decided to get a coat. I chose the Chitter woman’s waterproof coat in flint. For me, the most important thing in a coat is practicality. I have two young children, and I need clothing which enables me to comfortably manage all the tasks I regularly face.
Tasks like the school run, in the pouring rain and howling wind. Clambering over the back seat of the car to properly secure seat belts. Trying to collapse the buggy and get it in the car boot. (The time it take to do this is almost definitely correlated to the weather! The worse the weather, the longer it takes.) And of course, going on adventures with my boys. Climbing over fallen trees, navigating muddy footpaths and carrying the youngest most of the way, all feature heavily.
I took my new coat with it’s windproof and waterproof fabric for a test drive to a local forest. I have to say, I was quite impressed. The fleece lining kept me comfortably warm, the detachable hood was handy when a rain shower threatened, and I couldn’t even feel the breeze through the fabric. I also really liked the elasticated sides, which gave the coat some shape, but still meant it allowed me lots of room to move about.
With it’s seven handy pockets I’m pretty certain this coat is going to come on many more adventures with my family and I.
Thank you to Trespass for sending me a courtesy review item.
