My Week of #LittleLoves

Grass cut field

Howdy folks! Friday has rolled in again, and I hope you have all had a good week? Here are all my Little Loves from this week:

Read:

I am still way behind in this category. I don’t know what has happened! I think maybe because of the longer daylight hours, and lack of howling wind,  I’m not feeling the need to go to bed at 8pm with a book. I will have to remedy this lack of reading soon!

Watched:

Mr C and I watched Tracks last weekend. The story of a young woman who decided to walk across Australian desert. It was a really good story, and made me want to return to Australia and travel around. The country is so vast, and people live and survive in conditions we in the UK and Ireland cannot even comprehend! I was only in Australia for one week, and didn’t make it out of Sydney. I would love to experience the outback. Maybe someday!

We watched it on Netflix, but you can also watch it on-line with Amazon by clicking  here or buy the dvd Tracks .

Listened:

This week I’ve mostly been listening to tractors! It’s silage (grass cutting) season, and when those farmers start, they don’t stop until they are finished. Even if it is 3 o’clock in the morning! I don’t really mind though. I can’t very well move to the countryside and then complain about farmers!

Made:

Only one more week until school is out for summer! I am hoping to have some little family adventures this year. Last year we literally got the keys to our new house on the last day of school, so most of the summer was spent unpacking! This year I am preparing to be spontaneous and I have made a bag which enable me to do so! Well, that is the plan! You can read about it here.

Wore:

My boys have been playing dress up again this week. To be fair, Aaron doesn’t actually have any dressing up outfits, and we are just waiting on him growing into Lewis’ old ones. However, he did pretty well in a pair of pirate shorts, Superman’s cape, and a t-shirt he was wearing by absolute coincidence! We named him SuperDog!

And Lastly:

Shopping! This week has been all about planning and purchasing for Aaron’s new bedroom. Hopefully I will have a little post on this for you next week! I can’t wait for him to have his own proper space!

I hope you all have a great week!
