Fantasies, Football and The Fall. #LittleLoves

Summer flowers

I always feel compelled to start of by saying hello,  and then commenting on the weather. What is up with it? Some tabloids have suggested we are in for a record breaking hot summer, but with so much rain we shall be flooded out. Knowing our weather, that actually sounds plausible! Anyway, let’s get down to business with this week’s Little Loves.

Read:

I was just scrolling through twitter last week when I read lots of chatter about family holidays to Dubai. After further investigation I saw that Visit Dubai are giving away 2 family holidays this summer. One to a family blogger, and one to a blog reader. After my recent trip to Monaco I have a severe case of wanderlust and I had to apply. You can read my entry and find out more here.

Watched:

Mr C and I have been watching The Fall on Amazon. It’s not my usual cup of tea, and it is a little disturbing at times. Serial killers – especially local ones, are a little scary for me! I tend to go for happy go lucky, however, I am addicted to this. Perhaps because it is set in Belfast and has some great actors.  You can  click the picture for the link, it is currently free on Prime.

Listened:

To my boys chasing each other up and down my over grown garden shouting GOALLLLL, even when it wasn’t!

Football

Made:

I finally made some decisions regarding my bedding, and I have thrown caution to the wind and not gone for my usual matching 6 piece set. Instead I found some beautiful sheets and pillowcases from La Redoute, and a duvet set from Bluebellgray. I was a little nervous as I ordered everything on-line, but the quality is really good, so I am happy making my bed every morning. And everything was reversible, so no need for me to get bored, I can easily switch things around.

Wore:

Three outfits every day, due to the ever changing weather. None of them very fashionable, and certainly not worth sharing here.

And Lastly:

I feel like we might finally be on the countdown to the summer holidays. Lewis finishes up at the end of June and then in September Aaron will be starting pre-school. My boys are no longer babies, but I reckon that means we can have bigger adventures. Bring it on!

Have a lovely weekend, and thanks for reading my #LittleLoves.

Lovely bedding. I lovedThe Fall when it was on TV. I think they might be making another series, but I could be wrong. We’re on countdown to the holidays too, I think everyone is now. It seems like this is a busy time of the year for people. xx

I’m the same with outfits – it’s been a random mix all week! I have The Fall in my Amazon watch list – really need to get round to that! x
